During the past 5 days, Chuck was the speaker at a camp for the Latvian Christian Students Fellowship. (In the U.S. it's known as Intervarsity.) These are some of the wonderful young people we met.
The camp was at a school in the small town of Jaunpagasts. Chuck and I had this classroom as our bedroom.
Across from the school were the community garden spots. The town had a few new structures, but most were from the Soviet times, including this tower.
These two old military vehicles were tucked away under some trees. We are not in America.
The students were so kind. When we left they thanked us with a card they had all signed.
Sorry Jenna, I didn't take pictures of the food. The meals were very simple but really good. I'll tell you later about milk soup.
